Had revival group training at Marie Calendars (restaurant), had my first rhubarb pie - it was good. Then had Kevin Dedmon speak to us, and then had Dann Farley speak to us. Then Chris. Then had small group.
II was impressed with Kevin. I had some issues with his beliefs half way through reading the ultimate treasure hunt... but after coming to Bethel, I saw why he said what he said... it was theologically challenging... but now I see :)
Kevin had some good thoughts on the whole Gnostic influence on current Christianity. I believe that Gnosticism still has great influence in the church - and may be one of the biggest things that are hindering us from walking in the the fullness of God. Very good thing to study if you feel like you have hit a ceiling in Christianity.
Dann was good, and funny. Nothing really new... just had to go though some things...
Chris spoke on Ephesians our spiritual warfare & our new nature, the whole context of Romans 7 being that of pre-salvation. Good revs on Eff 1 & 2 & 6.
Otherwise I feel the call to go deeper. This week has been liberating in so many areas of my life. I have so much victory and answers to things I have fought for for years (literally). Things that no one had answers to, and no one could help me with. Now I have revelation and victory in these areas.
And in the midst of these victories, I am more thank thankful. I praise God.
But there is more. I feel the upwards call of Heaven on my life. I feel like things are on the edge, waiting to to topple over and be released. Somehow and somewhere this need to happen. May God increase His grace towards my life.
Truly, Jesus did not only come with truth, but also with grace. He was BOTH FULL of Grace AND Truth.
