We went to Chico... the YWAM base... there is a big old hotel in the middle of a small valley... supposedly 30 years old, because of some gold they found there... they also have a hot water spring there... that smells of sulfur... me having a chemical background was not put off by it... the pool there was very nice... smooth clear water... not too cold, just right :) on our free time we went bouldering... walking up a river to the waterfall... that was scary at times... basically rock jumping and rock climbing... without ropes :) but not too serious... adventure :)
the first night we had worship, and a short word on getting to know God as the main aim... seeking His face... and then we had a time of proclaiming freedom... people coming up and declaring freedom over their lives publicly... we ended with some cool worship... we have some crazy people in our group :) ha ha :)
The second night was deep. Eric Johnson (Bill Johnson's clone... I mean son...) spoke to us... He has the same style at Bill... and is just as good... wow... two pages of writing from "a simple message"... wow... and then we had some more worship afterwards... really connected with God :) good times :)
still need to journal a lot... and process everything... but its was all good...
A guy from Durban (Ian) showed me how to stick a coin to a wall with the presence of God :) ha ha :0 its very fun to watch :)
